For those of us that would like to remember a bit more about how the Internet used to be like, here is a great tool that one could spend countless hours in.  I just discovered it by chance, on a late Sunday afternoon, when I was taking a short web surfing procrastination break from my work, as I prepare to go to the VON (Voice On the Net) conference.

I am talking about Internet Archive's Wayback Machine, which is a terrific utility which has more than 30 billion web pages archived from 1996 to a few months ago.  It is a great way to look at older sites that no longer exist on the web.  For kicks and giggles, I tried to see what Jeff Pulver's page on pulver.com looked like... back in 1996
