Well, I know one other hardware manufacturer who has already done some like this. Actually they didn't stop where Yamaha did. They added WiFi (802.11g), a four port 10/100 switch as well a statefull firewall and hardware ASIC accelerated DES encryption of VPN tunnels. The company is Zyxel and the product is called Zyxel Prestige 2602HW

My version of the prestige 2602HW beta is not working... LAN is not talking with the WAN.
from the 24.8 menu I am able to ping wan using ip ping 205.151.205.151 but none of the packets travel from lan to wan. I have trace the packets with sys trcd brief... looks good but nothing is showing in IE. it looks like a DNS issue. The router is lost.... Trackbacks
